10 + 1 Things To Do in order to have a fun and exciting Minnesota Spring Break.

If you’re stuck staying home, here are some ideas that are better than a week-long Netflix binge:

  • If you like waffles, than you should go to Black Coffee and Waffles Bar. There are two Twin Cities locations.  It has a famous brick wall to take pictures against.
  • Animals are always fun so you could go to The Minnesota Zoo. Take scenic walks while looking at flamingos.
  • Go to the Eagan Outlet Mall. The weather will probably be beautiful and warm. Plus who doesn’t like shopping?
  • Are you bored of your home? You can visit The Parade of Homes to get new ideas or convince your parents to move. Check out the online catalog and map your route.
  • PLHS is joining Apple Valley High School at 10:00 a.m. for their Walkout Against Gun Violence. Come participate and help urge lawmakers for gun control. Check out the story from Fox 9 News or Twitter for more information about participating. #NeverAgain
  • Do you like looking at a conservatory of trees and flowers? If you do, the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory are always open!
  • If you want to take artistic pictures with the newly added sculptures, then the time is NOW! Go to The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden at the Walker Art Center..
  • Ever wonder if your favorite artist performed in a tiny bar in MN? First Avenue has a bunch of Stars — so many you might not be able to read all of them. Go and see a concert or at least take some pics next to your favorites.
  • History is everywhere around us. In fact, what you’re reading now has already became part of history. For more fun about history, go to the Minnesota History Center. They have many fun exhibits to explore.
  • If nature’s in your blood, then you’re better off this spring break visiting waterfalls with magnificent trails. There are so many to pick from, but my personal favorite is Minnehaha Falls. Have fun!
  • St. Paul goes Green (as in Luck of the Irish Green) on St. Patrick’s Day.  Irish or not, join in!  Check out the St. Patrick’s Day happenings.

Remember to be safe and spend money!
