Over spring break, many people will be staying in Minnesota, going to tropical places, or even venturing to colder destinations — but not Prior Lake High School’s choir. The group of singers will travel to New York City for break. Their jam-packed trip involves activities from visiting the Statue of Liberty to singing in St. John the Divine cathedral. Even though they leave Saturday, March 11 at 2:30 in the morning, the group will host a send-off concert Thursday, March 9. Experience the variety of music the choir will be singing by joining them in the auditorium on March 9 at 7 pm. Choral pieces range from Russian church songs to jazzy traditional spiritual tunes.
