This month, NHS has been busy organizing fundraising opportunities for its biggest project of the year: Wish Your Way, a school-wide fundraiser for the nationwide nonprofit Make-A-Wish.
NHS aims to raise $2,500 to support Make-A-Wish’s mission of fulfilling a young child’s wish while they are fighting a critical illness.
Empty milk jugs have been distributed to each classroom where students are encouraged to donate to the fundraiser while participating in a friendly competition among their peers in other classes.
As the last week of February arrives, NHS is planning Wish Week, a week full of prizes, treats, and games during lunches to end the fundraiser on a strong note. All proceeds from this will go directly to Make-A-Wish.
