Ten talented Prior Lake High School students and one student from Bridges Area Learning Center had their artwork submitted to the 39th Annual South Suburban Conference Visual Arts Exhibition, which features outstanding student artwork from across the conference.
At the Awards Ceremony on February 25, all students had their artwork on display, and five PLHS students were awarded for their exceptional work.
– Michelle Bertelson received one of the five Excellence Awards for her graphite drawing, заново відкриваючи традицію (Rediscovering Tradition).
– Tomas Valdivia earned one of the ten Achievement Awards for his digital photograph, How It’s Made.
– Panha (Danny) Nong won one of the five Merit Awards for his digital photography piece, All In: Stories from the Sidelines.
– Aubrie Sutherland was honored with a Gold Key in the Scholastic Art Competition for her acrylic painting, Ambivalent. She also received a Silver Key and two Honorable Mentions in the same competition.
– Anna Wang earned a Gold Key in the Scholastic Art Competition for her acrylic painting, Flower Garden.
– Dani Cook, the National Art Honor Society President, exhibited her mixed media sculpture, A Helping Hand.
– Emilie Naya showcased her digital artwork, Happy Cow.
– Maya Bekere showcased her acrylic painting, Igneous.
– Yahara Bravo showcased her mixed media painting, Soul.
– Abby Johnson exhibited her mixed media sculpture, Green at Heart.
– Sebastian Niewinski, showcased his marker piece, Enclave.
