This past weekend, Prior Lake Wrestling was in Ellsworth, WI, competing in the 60th annual Ellsworth Invitational.
Three Prior Lake wrestlers, senior Brock Zurn (heavyweight), senior John Graham (150), and sophomore Liam Collins (113) took home 1st place in their respective weight classes. Liam Collins was also selected as the Most Valuable Wrestler for the tournament.
Other top finishers for the Lakers include junior Charlie Nelson (3rd place at 175), sophomore Rocco Mikolyzk (3rd place at 106), sophomore Wyatt Smith (4th place at 132), junior Owen Trondson (5th place at 138), junior Zach Gabler (5th place at 157), senior Scottie Hendricks (5th place at 165), and sophomore Isaiah Olabode (5th place at 215).
Up next for the Lakers is a home dual against Shakopee on Friday, 12/13, before hosting the annual Ron Edwards Duals on Saturday, 12/14.
